Michael is an Associate Director of Pragmatique working in the Project Business Unit providing Project and Risk Management expertise and also specialising in Innovation in the Performance business Unit.

Michael holds a BEng (Hons) Engineering degree, an MBA from University of Strathclyde Business School and a diploma in Local Economic Development from University of Glasgow.

Michael also works with Oxford Innovation the UK's largest operator of Innovation centres.  Previously Michael managed one of the UK's most successful innovation centres, Hillington Park, Glasgow (UKBI established Incubator of the Year 2006). During his time he managed the team of business advisors supporting more than 120 early stage businesses progress through the incubation process and was principal for all new business into the centre. He has also worked for Start International Ltd as Regional Director where he was responsible for directing all Scottish activity in growing the portfolio of the business in serviced offices and innovation .

In addition to this Michael also previously worked for Scottish Enterprise  - Clusters Directorate and was involved in early stage business support cluster development for Optoelectronics companies and headed up Proof of Concept Optoelectronics selection and awards with all Universities across Scotland. He also worked for Enterprise Ayrshire (1995-98) supporting Engineering and Electronics companies.

Outside of work Michael spends family time with his three children, enjoys popular music, dabbling about with IT and computers and participating but mostly supporting all forms of sport.
