Barry Watson

 Barry is a Director of Pragmatique, working in its Process & Performance Practices specialising in the adoption of Lean Sigma Process Improvements, particularly in the SME sector. He has experience of working in a wide range of sectors including Automotive, Food and Drink, Construction, and Pharmaceutical.

He gained his MBA in 2000 from Napier University Edinburgh, and is a Motorola certified Six Sigma Practitioner, EFQM Assessor, ISO 9000:2000 auditor, NLP Practitioner and licensed to deliver Business Benchmarking and Innovation diagnostic tools.

His previous experience is in the Semiconductor industry, initially with NEC where he was introduced to the Kaizen philosophy, later he worked with Digital as an Engineering Shift Manager, and latterly with Motorola as a Six Sigma Quality Engineer.
 
Barry's work with Pragmatique recently has covered business diagnostics in Northern Ireland, manufacturing improvements in the North East of England, and he has previously worked on export development projects in Albania, and Innovation development in the Czech Republic. Barry is a founder member and Chairman of the Construction Best Practice Club covering Central Scotland.

Outside of work, Barry enjoys watching and participating in sport such as golf, football and his glacier like pace takes him running with the occasional game of rugby.  When he is not ferrying his children to various activities, weekends are a time to spend catching up with family and friends.
