The EFQM Business Excellence Model is a framework that allows you to compare your organisations performance in nine key areas against recognised best practice. It is the most widely used framework in Europe with over 30,000 business using it to improve performance.
As a diagnostic tool the Excellence Model is a non-prescriptive framework, allowing it to be adapted for all sectors and sizes of organisations. Diagnosis can either be through the form of self-assessment, where the organisation grade themselves against the criteria, or as part of a wider assessment carried out by us involving interviews and focus groups.
The diagnosis helps identify strengths and areas for improvement and leads to the development of improvement plans designed to deliver sustainable growth.

Facilitated Self-Assessment
Working with your Senior Management Team, your assessment against the Business Excellence Framework, will be fully supported by our experienced and accredited EFQM Assessors.
Together we examine each area of the model, and help you through the scoring process, before discussing what that really means for you. Is it really as good or bad as you have said, what are the key pieces of evidence to prove or disprove your score?
Using the outputs of the discussion, we work with you to create a prioritised action list, which targets your agreed areas for improvement.
Assessment
Through a combination of interviews and focus groups we use the model to get under the skin of your organisation and make sure you are "walking the talk".
Assessments take from one day to several days depending on the size of your organisation, and depth you want covered. The timescales, and necessary requirements, will be agreed with you before we begin, which allows you to plan the process, and experience minimal impact on your operations. We know how important this is to you.
Your report will detail your strengths and areas for improvement, and we can combine the assessment with other tools to create a full Business Healthcheck for you.
Self-Assessment
After completing the workshops, you will have the knowledge and materials to enable you to use the EFQM framework as an ongoing self-assessment tool. This enables you to model the most successful businesses, and diagnose strengths and areas for improvement, on an ongoing basis. We want to help you develop improvement plans that deliver sustainable growth.
